Canon 1000D, Best for Amateur and Proffesional
I consider myself an amateur at photography and this short article is written in such manner. I’ve always had a thing for cameras and photography. Over the past 10 years I’ve owned many different types of digital cameras and just few months ago I made a decision it was time I invested in a “professional” camera. By professional I mean those big SLR cameras.
I spend hours browsing the web looking for an ideal one for me, an amateur photographer. At the end I made a decision to purchase the Canon EOS 1000D. This camera is recommended for beginners and amateurs and has all of the features a serious photographer needs.
I bought the camera along with the stock lens, 18-55mm. Although this is a superb lens, I still would recommend buying another one. This lens is great if you are taking photos of objects which are close to you, range from 1-5meters. If you want to take pictures of objects closer than that, I like to recommend a macro lens. If you would like to consider pictures of objects further away you must probably invest in a zoom lens.
The stock battery that comes with the camera is great. I did not have to charge it for 2-3 months after I purchased the camera. The camera connects easily to a computer via USB, the Canon software that is included with the camera makes it very easy to transfer the photos to your computer.
I strongly recommend the EOS 1000D for anyone who’s serious about photography but isn’t ready to spend thousands of dollars over a SLR camera just yet. Overall I rate the 1000D 7 out of 10. It’s really simple and easy to utilize, even for a technically challenged fool like me.
