History of Nikon Digital Cameras
It’s common human tendency to savor each moment of happiness and enjoyment. To this end, cameras help to keep the memories intact in the form of photographs. In other words, photographs are moments frozen in time. A camera has thus become a familiar component in every household. For photographers a good camera is a necessary item. And herein Nikon has slowly assumed the ‘Numero Uno’ position in the market. Nikon digital cameras are popular among most camera lovers simply for the stunning quality of pictures they produce.
Despite a late start in 1948, Nikon gradually gathered pace with the help of excellent products which have been favorites to all. One example of Nikon digital cameras is the DSLRs for the use of those who have taken up professional photography. High end digital SLR is also suitable for this section of population. These cameras have better functions and produce the best quality pictures.
In the 1990s and Nikon went on to manufacture more high quality SLR cameras. Some of these are NIKONOS RS which came out in 1992 and was the first underwater auto-focus camera, and the E2/E2S digital cameras introduced in 1995.
Nikon digital cameras saw the light in 1997 when COOLPIX100 began its journey. These products became instant hits among the public due to their reliability and accessibility.
The wide acceptance of Nikon digital cameras has paved the way to explore new directions. Nikon has started factories in places like Poland and Netherlands. It is one of the most favored camera brands of today. In these 50 years, Nikon has indeed come a long way.
